Some Useful Tricks that will Help You Navigate through MS Windows, Just Like a Ninja!

Let me start by defining the word navigation which simply means to access the position of something or follow a route. Navigation in Windows will basically tell you how to move around Windows with the help of different keys without using a mouse or touch pad. Efficient time management is a new luxury nowadays. Quitting the use of mouse will not only save your precious time but it will also increase your efficiency. There are plenty of shortcut keys and combinations that will help you in saving every little second of your day. So let's check out how can we navigate around windows by simply playing with the keyboard rather than using the mouse:

1. Launch programs by pressing the "start or windows" key. You can also use arrow keys to select any program from the start menu and press "Enter" key to open.
2. Use an Alt+F4 key to close all the programs or tabs on your screen.
3. If you want to dismiss any dialogue box, use Esc button.
4.  Use Arrow keys to navigate around the menu.
5. You can also switch through different tabs opened on your screen by simply using a combination of Alt+Tab keys.
6. Windows+D shows your desktop.
7. Ctrl+T or ctrl+N to open a new tab.
8. Ctrl+W closes the opened tab
9. Press windows+F to search any folder, file or app on your computer.
10. Use windows+E to browse different folders or drives on the computer.
11. Use simple arrow keys to move left or right half of your screen.
12. Use up and down arrow keys to scroll up and scroll down the existing page.
13. Use F6 to directly go to URL bar.
14. ctrl+ to zoom in window
15.  Ctrl- to zoom out
16. Use F2 to rename a folder
17. Press Alt+Enter key to check the properties of a file.
18. To browse a previous page, use Alt+left arrow.
19. Use Alt+right arrow to move next page.
20. If you want to refresh existing page, press ctrl+R.
21. To find something on the current page, use ctrl+F.
22. Press ctrl+S to save the existing page.
23. Add your existing page in favorite menu or bookmark, use ctrl+D.
24. To open the bookmarks or favorites, ctrl+B is there.
25. Ctrl+A to select all the contents of the web page.
26. Ctrl+C to copy web page elements.
27. Ctrl+v to paste the selected text of a webpage.
28. Ctrl+Z to Undo any action.
29. Ctrl+Y to redo an action.
30. Ctrl+P prints the active page.
